I recently stayed at Hotel Pagoda for a few nights during our trip to explore the beautiful city of Nara. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even helping us upgrade to a larger twin room at a discounted rate. The view of the park and deer from our room was a lovely bonus. The bathroom was spacious, which was a relief for someone like me who has experienced cramped bathrooms in other hotels. The receptionist, Ai, was extremely helpful in planning our day trip to Mt Yoshino and gave great recommendations for dining options. The cleanliness of the hotel, including the communal areas and shared bathrooms, was outstanding. The well-equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise. a fantastic hotel with helpful staff and great amenities. Would definitely recommend.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect, with all the main attractions within easy reach. the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and accommodating. Our room, the Deluxe Queen Room with tatami area, was incredibly spacious and could comfortably sleep four people. We were pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of an electric kettle, which the friendly staff kindly loaned to us. the top floor kitchen facilities, including microwaves, a refrigerator, and a sink, were an added bonus. the availability of bicycles for rent made exploring the hillside shrines a breeze. we had a wonderful experience at this former love hotel and would highly recommend it to other travelers. Cons: No complaints. 👌.
